Thermal Remediation for Bed Bug Extermination

Alpha Bed Bug will have a professionally trained technician come out to the property to do a walk-through inspection. After the inspection, the technician will give a quote for the price of the heat-treatment service. The inspection fee is waived if the customer decides to use our services the same day. The technician will then proceed with the sealing and heating of the property. (Please read the “Our Process” section below for a more detailed description.) The owners may re-enter the property the same day of the service, just hours after treatment, after the temperature stabilizes.

Anyone can fall victim to a bed bug infestation. Bed bugs do not choose a specific type of home or person to infest. Bed bugs feed on human hosts and other mammals; therefore, their only interest is to find a host to feed on. It’s a common misconception to think that only “dirty” places get bed bugs. Many “clean” places also fall victim to bed bug infestations. Hotels, dorms, hospitals, daycares, schools, movie theaters, etc. have an increased risk of bed bug infestations because of how much foot-traffic occurs in those places. Airport travel is one of the main ways bed bug infestation spreads– people unknowingly transfer bed bugs, and unfortunately the infestation continues to spread.
